Youth Picnic and Campfire
Saturday, September 11, 6:00 - 10:00 pm
It’s time to regroup after the long summer break, and welcome our newest Youth Group members with a picnic, campfire, and fun games! We’ll meet in the grove at Salem. Sign up on the youth bulletin board and plan to bring a picnicky (new word!) food to share. We’ve got a busy Fall season coming up in Youth Group, so plan on being involved right from the start!
Youth Group Meeting
Sunday, September 26, 4:30-6:30 pm
This is our first “regular” Youth Group meeting of the fall season. Come and see what cool stuff we do here with Youth Group! We’ll be talking about what our roles will be at the Family Fall Fest and making other plans for upcoming youth events.
Youth to Help at the Salem Family Fall Fest
The Youth Group has been asked to help at the Family Fall Fest on October 2 at Salem. We will be helping with pumpkin decorating. Please set this day aside (11:00 am though 3:00 pm) and get ready for FUN!!
“See You at the Pole”
Wednesday, Sept. 22, 7:00 am
Started by a small group of teenagers in Texas in 1990, See You at the Pole has grown to include more than 2 million students around the world, meeting on the 4th Wednesday in September at their school’s flagpole to pray. Students in more than 20 countries take part. In places like the Netherlands, the Congo, the Philippines, Canada, and Mexico, students are responding to God and becoming part of a vast, united movement of prayer.
Children, youth, and teachers, please plan on being at the flagpole at your school on the morning of September 22! For more information, visit www.syatp.com.
